Emirates Woman of the Year Awards by Maha Abdul Rasheed

I was truly overwhelmed by the awards that took place at the Park Hyatt hotel Dubai - which also happens to be my favourite spot in the UAE!

The whole experience, from entrance to exit, was so well planned and my family and I were very well taken care of. The set-up although glamorous was not too over the top and the hosts, the Emirates Woman magazine ladies, were so welcoming and sweet. And I have to mention the dessert - a white chocolate torte - which was just too good to be true!

For my outfit, I decided on a typical 50's vintage off-white dress from my boutique Bambah - very Jackie O! And although it was plain white, I really liked the simplicity and the cut which I hope was flattering on its own. It was a great night - one to remember!
